Kendrapada Zilla Vikash Parishad was formed in 2003. This organization was formed mainly by the people of Kendrapada living in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. The organization aims to address three key issues . First, people are forced to leave their hometowns to pursue careers and higher studies. But staying outside does not mean forgetting their hometowns. Even while staying away from their place of birth, they can contribute significantly to the development work of their region in various ways. Sometimes, they can contribute to collective endeavours and at others, they can help people individually.
